Ableton Live 8 rinnova il cuore di Live, introducendo il supporto per i mixaggi
a 64bit e di file REX, migliorando il MIDI timing e l'integrazione Hardware;
accogliendo le caratteristiche richieste più gettonate, come i cambi di Time
Signature, l'esportazione video, le linee di automazione multiple e molto altro.
La versione 8 è caratterizzata dal nuovo "Drum Rack" che faciliterà la creazione
di sezioni ritmiche grazie ad una semplice interfaccia drag-and-drop. I nuovi
strumenti interni sono il risultato della collaborazione tra Ableton e le
aziende leader del settore. Il set di strumenti offerto va dai Piano Elettrici,
sintetizzatori analogici e strumenti ad arco, ai campioni di batterie acustiche,
strumenti orchestrali, fiati, ottoni e percussioni, utilizzabili in presets
multi-livello e multi/mic. Gli sturmenti si integrano con Live sia a livello di
flusso di lavoro che di gestione di risorse del sistema.
